Comedian, writer Dean Wolfe heads the "Experts" segment of the Mix Masters with his unique blend of knowledge and comedy. Dean's knowledge in the wine world spans a decade of experience in the restaurant business before moving to Los Angeles as a Stand-Up comic and writer.
Dean's extensive knowledge of wines, both domestic and international won him the Wine Spectator Award along with consulting jobs with Schaffer Vineyards, Remy Martin and J. Steele to name a few. His experience prompted restaurants from around the country to pursue him to oversee their staff training in wine tasting and sales.
As a Stand-up Comic, Wolfe has appeared at The Punch Line, Comedy Store, Catch A Rising Star and competed in the Johnny Walker Comedy Competition and the San Francisco Comedy Competition.
Wolfe's film credit's include: Devious Beings, Last Day's of Summer, Danny's Folly, and Staight to Video. Dean has also guest starred in the "Safety Blanket" episode of Chicken Soup for the Soul Hosted by Michael Tucker. Stage appearences include Phil in Hurlyburly.
Since moving to Los Angeles, he has built an impressive resume writing for such television and film projects as The Late Show with Craig Kilborn, TV Guide Online, Devious Beings and Mob Hysteria.
According to Dean, he's loving the opportunity to do The Mix Masters, "How many people get the chance to blend their first and second careers?"
